What's your favorite cast member up to?

There's plenty of updates today on the cast & crew's latest projects.  As you can tell, everyone seems to be quite busy with non-BTTF projects as usual.  Check out the lastest news below, as well as several theatrical posters from upcoming films.

Project updates
BUZZ LIGHTYEAR OF STAR COMMAND:  Tom Wilson is among a lengthy list of celebrities lending their voices to characters on this upcoming ABC / UPN series.  Wilson voices a recurring villian named "Buster" on the 65 episode animated series from Pixar slated to debut in October.  Buzz Lightyear and his nemesis Emperor Zurg will be voiced by Seinfeld alumni Patrick Warburton and Wayne Knight respectively.  Other recurring villian voices include French Stewart and Linda Hamilton.  The series reportedly won't be in 3-D as the two Toy Story films were, but in the traditional 2-D style.

DUETS:  Disney's Hollywood Pictures may have decided to shop Huey Lewis' big film around to other studios because they thought it was too violent, but that hasn't stopped them from releasing a trailer to the internet.  Film.com recently posted the film's trailer in Real Player format, as well as a high resolution photo of Huey with co-star Gwynneth Paltrow. View the trailer (Thanks to Dark Horizons for the tip!)

INTERSTATE 60:  In a very interesting reunion of sorts, Neil Canton has now been attached to produce this film project, reuniting him with Bob Gale (who wrote the screenplay and will also direct) and Christopher Lloyd.  Canton's production company, Seven Arts International, is sharing producing duties with Redeemable Features on this comedy about a young man's search for answers along a highway that doesn't exist on any map — an odyssey that puts him together with numerous off-the-wall characters in some very unusual towns.  The film is scheduled to finally go before the cameras in May, and will also star Kurt Russell (Used Cars).

UPTOWN:  Billy Zane makes his directorial debut in this romantic comedy about a man who starts a theater company for the mentally ill.  No word on whether Zane will be also among the cast.  The film is presently in development.

VANISHED:  Billy Zane stars in this thriller about a man who takes revenge on his brother's death by terrorizing a group of college kids.

WHAT WOMEN WANT:  Dean Cundey is presently serving as the Director of Photography on Paramount's romantic comedy that boasts an all-star cast, including Mel Gibson, Helen Hunt, Lauren Holly, Marisa Tomei, Delta Burke and Bette Midler.  Gibson, who also produces the film, stars as a chauvinistic executive who finds himself with the ability to read the minds of women after a freak accident.  Production began in Los Angeles on February 22, and will move to Chicago in mid-April for the final three weeks of filming scheduled to wrap on May 5.  The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 15, 2000.

Posters:  Below are theatrical posters for several upcoming unreleased films by the BTTF cast, including Mary Steenburgen's Anasazi Moon, two versions from Christopher Lloyd's Chasing Destiny, Billy Zane's Morgan's Ferry and Promise Her Anything, and Lea Thompson's The Unknown Cyclist.  None of these films presently have scheduled release dates.  (Poster art courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter and Reelplay.com)
