Christopher Lloyd talks to MSNBC

In a rare interview, Lloyd discusses working with Fox

Tomorrow night, America will be tuning in by the millions to watch the season finale of ABC's Spin City in which Michael J. Fox ends four years of hard work and determination as he temporarily retires from television to spend more time with his family & fighting the battle against Parkinson's Disease.  The night will no doubt be an emotional one for us all; one that will mean so many different things to each and every one of us who have followed Fox's successful career since the early '80s.
Leading up to the final hour, MSNBC will devote the entire preceeding hour on their primetime magazine show Special Edition to Spin City and Michael J. Fox beginning at 8:00 PM EST.  In a rare interview, which will no doubt be a very special treat for fans, Christopher Lloyd tells MSNBC his views on Michael's talent and the recent events surrounding his personal life.  Below are a couple of excerpts, courtesy of MSNBC:
Christopher Lloyd on Michael J. Fox's performance in the Back to the Future movies:

"What makes him most interesting and memorable in his best role, is just somebody who deals with crisis in a positive and successful, and in a moral way, is confronted by life's challenges, and is not knocked over by them, but makes choices, right and wrong, that go forward and make some kind of progress."

Lloyd on Fox's revelation that he has Parkinson's:

"I think he, he wanted to get out there and, you know, just be open in public about it and say 'this is my situation, this is what's happening to me'... rather than wait, and have a lot of speculation going on."

The special also features fellow Spin City cast interviews, and a look back at Michael's life & accomplishments.  The show will test viewers' knowledge of the Spin City cast, and will reveal TV Guide's list of the "Top Ten Stars Who Left On Top".

Fox's Foundation for Parkinson's Research now online

As he announced last night during is appearance on CBS' Late Show With David Letterman, Michael J. Fox's Foundation for Parkinson's Research has officially launched their website via www.MichaelJFox.org.  I urge every one of our readers to visit this informative site immediately, to see how we call all assist in the battle against Parkinson's Disease.  BTTF.com will be taking steps in the coming weeks and months ahead to help in any way we possibly can by spreading the news and making donations to this worthy & critical cause.
When viewing the site and the various notes from Michael himself, you'll learn of an upcoming celebrity auction next month where all sorts of Spin City memorabilia will be auctioned off to raise funds for Michael's Foundation.  There will be subsequent auctions to follow, one of which we've learned will include some rare Back to the Future props & costumes.  BTTF.com learned last month from an inside source that Universal had donated some of their remaining props & costumes from the series to Michael.  No further details were given regarding the donation, and we could only assume that they would be used in some sort of upcoming auction.  Now, this appears to indeed be the case, which will allow many fans the opportunity to own some one-of-a-kind pieces of movie history, and at the same time, help in the battle against this disease.  Stay tuned to MichaelJFox.org and BTTF.com for further details on when this paticular auction will take place.
