Bob Gale tells BTTF.com that Christopher Lloyd's primary residence in Montecito, California was destroyed beyond salvage late last night in the wildfires which have been ravaging the Los Angeles area this week.
The 5,500 sqft. home had previously been listed for sale last year for $11.3 million, but Lloyd withdrew the property from the market recently so he could make upgrades. He owns a
second home also in Montecito which is still on the market for $3.4 million and did not sustain any damage from the wildfires.
Lloyd was not at home at the time of the fire — he's currently in Vancouver filming a movie. Our thoughts & prayers are with Chris and his loved ones at this devastating time, and we're so thankful that there were no injuries in the blaze.

Mr. Lloyd looks like he was almost to tears. I would be to if my house burnt down. Hopefully no BTTF memorabilia was lost ,but thats wishful thinking. It is sad that any memorabilia was lost even if it wasn't BTTF. Mr. Lloyd you are my favorite actor and it saddens me to see this happen to you. My prayers are with you and the many familys who lost their homes.

"Brown Mansion Destroyed" - the fates do seem to have a very strange sense of humor at times. My thoughts and prayers, too, are with Christopher Lloyd and all the individuals and families who have lost their homes and more in the California wildfires.
