I just got an email saying the Hoverboard I pre-ordered in January of this year is cancelled and will not be shipped... anyone else get this message ??

 There used to be a website called BTTF Stuff.com that had tons of paper prop downloads and all the delorean sound effects you could ask for. Unfortunately, the guy Video Bob, renovated his website to include all of his car/prop replica stuff and took away all the free BTTF downloads.

In the first film you see the mileage on the car at 33061 miles, so assumed it was a second hand DeLorean the producers had picked up somewhere.

There's no way he supplied them with deloreans. John Delorean just battled his way through court problems and the closing of his company, he was practically broke and socially ruined. I don't think its ever been said where they picked up the deloreans, but they were probably second hand cars so they'd be cheaper and the studio or most likely the people who designed the delorean time machine got the cars from somewhere.
