That is completely false. There were fans of the project who were talking about it all over the place when the word of their technology they were working on got out in the newspapers. They were on CNN in 2010 and Public Television in 2011 after the project completed. The project was controlled by investor funding so of course they could not release the details of how to build one.The 2 researchers John and Matt would never in a million years spam the project in such a way. They were bound by the investors who had a big percentage of the propriety of the technology and the patent lawyers and company intellectual property agreements would never allow the researchers working on that to "spam" the information out on some hover website. I know. I have been following their work. They happen to be working on a 6-foot levitating frame for lifting heavier payload and since the project completed January 1, 2011, they have since revealed some of it's workings that they are using a "Bose Einstein Condensate" in it to make it work. What some fans of the project may have done telling people about the project 10 years ago is not the responsibility of the people in that project. You should get your facts a little straight.

Would Spielberg still do it,, LOL. With today's special effects, it would be wild! Frankly, the way the world turned out to be in 2015, looking at it now, it must be the ALTERNATE 2015! |

Just like the movie, there is this scientific research project from Connecticut that has come up with a maglev that works on any ground, without needing a rail like those maglev trains. Unlike the movie, theirs does work on water! The project has a video of it in action: |
