Hey everyone, I'm Luke, For the past few months I've been writing and shooting the start to a Back to the Future fan-film for my A2 Photography/Digital optics course. The story is based around actions the Doc and Marty overlooked on the second film, so will include past locations as well as new ones. I have a vast collection of props already made, with few I need to finish off. I am also location scouting for accurate looking places to film. I can also easily place actors in scenes I can't replicate (screenshots from the films). (so lots of work to still do) On Friday I stared up a new youtube page for it, and since then I've contacted Parkinson's UK, the local fundraising group I am part of, as well as my Dep Head teacher. The reason I contacted Parkinson’s UK (and the others) is because I am very keen on doing local showings of the film to help rasie money for thier cause (due to my grandad suffering from the illness). So far I've had a yes from everyone, so it all looks like it will happen. However I would also like to get people to subscribe to my youtube channel for regular updates, and to generate interest in the project. If the project really hits the ground running, who knows how much we can make for Parkinson's UK! There is of course other ideas such a DVD's, large showings (if universal / Michal J Fox approve), but who know atm. My deadline is the 31st Jan. So no break for me. http://www.youtube.com/ivbacktothefutureiv
Thank you, Luke |
