OMG! THANK YOU SO MUCH! ive been watching this movie since 87ish and i NEVER understood what he was saying, yes i know who Devo is, always have, well since 87 i have. NEVER knew and i meant to ask my friend during the movie but forgot to. WOW THANKS!! hahaha

I think your looking too much into it.

When Marty comes outside to look at his truck, the BMW is still in the driveway, just moved, like Biff was done waxing it and had left. It seems like it took signifigant amount of time for Marty to come out to look at his truck.

I believe that the editing error was in BTTF II. At the end of BTTF, you are left with the assumption that Biff had left. At the beginning of BTTF II, Biff is for some reason still at the house just in time to see the DeLorean fly off for the plot line. Oh and the BMW is still in the driveway at the beginning of the second film. I guess you have to assume that Biff's little truck is in the street.
