I hate to admit it, but Eric could play the older Marty.

They could even use some bits of his filming of part one (before Michael replaced him) as flashbacks.

Thing is, they replaced him because he didn't have the right feel for the comedic aspects of the film.  Would he be able to pull it off this time?  Maybe he's grown in that area as an actor, but maybe not.  If he hasn't, the 4th film would have a totally different feel from the first three.  Probably a lot more dark.

Do you want a DARK part IV?

Besides, I don't know if I want to see Eric today trying to play a 16 year old Marlene.  Heh.

Not if it was put on a Blu-Ray disc.  Might have to be reduced to Standard Def (DVD quality), but all three should fit fine.

Official release of the TV versions?

I love Back To The Future, but call me old fashioned...

Some of the language is pretty bad.

I remember a long time ago having only seen the TV versions for quite a while, I brought a rental to a friend's house to watch BTTF II and got embarassed because I'd forgotten the type of lauguage there was in the original version.

Does anyone think they might EVER release the TV versions on DVD?  The ones with the redubbed lines?
