Tom Wilson is an actor, writer, artist, and musician, whose career has explored most every artistic discipline, as well as a few surprises. A man of fervent, but private faith his whole life, the last few years have been interesting, with hundreds of invitations to speak at conferences and retreats, as well as the opportunity to record the music that he began playing in church in the seventies.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa., Tom Wilson has enjoyed a successful career as an actor, writer and comedian for over twenty years. He has more than fifty films, T.V. shows, and comedy specials to his credit, and has appeared on talk shows with everyone from Johnny Carson, Jay Leno and David Letterman, to Regis and Kathie Lee. He starred as Biff, in the now classic Back To The Future film trilogy and was seen in the family films; That Darn Cat, Born To Be Wild, and Camp Nowhere, as well as the Emmy award winning film about the civil war, Andersonville. Most recently, he's been seen in the T.V. series Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, Maggie, Fired Up, Nash Bridges, and on the critically acclaimed Freaks and Geeks. He continues to act in movies and television, and he performs comedy and music across America.
As a writer and producer, he's written for several prestigious literary magazines, as well as for Universal Studios, Disney, Fox, and Film Roman studios, and produced a groundbreaking series of debates for Canadian television called The Seven Deadly Sins, which examined cultural values and the role of the arts within them.
Most recently he has completed a collection of his original, contemporary Christian songs on a CD, "In The Name Of The Father" Produced by Emilio Palame, who's worked with Chuck Mangione, Peggy Lee and a who's who of the music industry, and featuring the musical talents of Stan Sargeant, John Chiodini, John Ferraro, Johnny Friday, and Doug Norwine, the production and playing is breathtaking.
Tom met his wife, Caroline -- a UCLA mathematics major, at the Comedy Store in Westwood in 1983, and they married two years later. They live near Los Angeles with their three daughters, Anna May, Emily, and Gracie, and one son, Tommy. His official website can be found at www.TomWilsonUSA.com.
