To the Moon, Alice!
Lloyd cast in "Alice in Wonderland" mini-series

Stephen M. Clark

London - Christopher Lloyd is headed back to the small screen, having being cast as the "White Knight" in NBC & Hallmark Entertainment's 3-hour mini-series, "Alice in Wonderland".
Filming began today on-location at the Shepperton Studios located in London, England, with an all-star cast which includes Tina Majorino, Martin Short, Miranda Richardson, Ben Kingsley, Whoopi Goldberg, Gene Wilder, George Wendt, Robbie Coltrane and Peter Ustinov.
"Alice in Wonderland" is an adaptation of Lewis Carroll's novels about the adventures of a girl in a topsy-turvy world where nothing is what it seems to be.
Lloyd joins a growing list of BTTF alumni who are starring in upcoming NBC mini-series.  Lea Thompson will be seen in "A Will of Their Own" this fall during the November sweeps, and Mary Steenburgen can be seen found saving the future of mankind in the Biblical adaptation of "Noah's Ark", cast as Sarah, the wife of Noah, during the May 1999 sweeps period.  "Noah" is currently shooting on location in Australia.
"Alice in Wonderland" is also tentatively scheduled during the May 1999 sweeps.
